CARe students attended a seminar led by Alexander Hoffman on 6th October 2026. Mr Hoffmann is originally from California and studied physics and zoology at Cambridge. The subject of discussion was hematopoietic decline during inflammaging.

CARe Master and PhD students participated in the 4th edition of the "Young Scientist Cancer Congress" which took place on 1st and 2nd October 2026. The 2026 edition focused on “Advances in Cancer Therapeutics,” highlighting innovative research at the interface of fundamental biology, translational research, and clinical oncology. The programme featured a particular focus on melanoma, breast cancer, and pediatric oncology,
